Default Born again Christian

Hey so I was in town and I saw this player he was recruiting for his guild and in his message it said that you need to be born again Christian. So what is a born again Christian?

Basically someone who was raised Christian, but stopped practicing for whatever reason and then picked it back up again.

lol..............

It is someone who has come to the realization that the the divine is not inspired by religion but rather by association of the finite and the divine and that the association is an actual possibility.

I used to know quite a few born again Christians and still do and thus know quite a bit about their beliefs and way of thinking.

But to be a born-again Christian, Jesus would have to enter into that mix. To believe an association of the finite and the divine is possible does not require believing Jesus is any more divine than you and I are.

Yes, thus the divine end of the association.

It does because the divine according to BAC is that Jesus is the divine.

Then I'd say the definition differs very much in different cases. My sister became "born again" and it was very much about the religion. She became very fundamentalist, to the point of constantly telling me I was going to hell for doing anything against the bible or what her pastor said was correct. Most of the members of her church called themselves born again. When I asked how that was defined, her pastor said that because they had "found Christ" again in the church, they had been brought to new life, hence born again.

I have also known some absolutely wonderful born again Christians. People who tried to take it to a loving place in their hearts, who became more loving, forgiving etc. They live in a way that emulates the message rather than the words, and I respect that. While I can't relate to that religion personally, I believe that if it makes you a better/kinder/happier/more peaceful person, more power to ya.

The single most important concept and ideal of a BAC is to break down the concepts of religion, denomination after denomination, class, status, ways of thought, all words to describe division. To unite under one banner and proclaim only one truth. It is not that thought is unimportant but rather that it should not divide, thought in itself is a primer of existence and a fundamental tool in understanding.

It is how one goes about this teaching that makes them different, their own flare of existence so to speak.

The root is constant, it is how the human mind molds it to their liking that changes it. I am sure your sister had nothing but good intentions in her approach to conform yourself to what she held to be true but it is rather a vain approach in that taste.

Trust me lol, I've had some BAC in my time with such vigor to get me involved in the movement.

Divinity existed in a myriad of cultures long before Jesus was born.

But that's saying Born-agains have the market on that particular belief. They don't. The belief that there is an association between the finite and the divine existed more than a thousand years before Christianity. The ancient Chinese had a tree with nine branches that ascended to heaven and on which the deities could climb down to come hang out (associate) with men and men could climb up to go hang out (associate) with the deities.

A belief in itself is just that, simply a belief. We can talk here for hours about countless beliefs. Mostly grounded in bias and superstition.

When all else is held in doubt the only thing that remains is the bond, the bond between the finite.

The bond in itself boasts of a certain divinity given in its permanence and its depth.

That is the divine, the breakdown of divisional constructs and the mutual line of infinite depth between points on this plane of existence.

The thing that amuses me most is its blatant simplicity, staring us in the face, wanting to be understood, waiting to be realized, waiting for that thought of a thought of something more.

Someone tell me I am insane! Someone tell me that I have no idea of what I utter! Someone tell me that I should never talk again! Only do these things if you can admit to yourself that within all individual subsets of existence there does not lie a common element. If one does exist, if you cannot dismiss its existence than it must be the constant, the bond in itself and thus the key to what the divine really is.

Well in that sense I'm a born again psycho...and is there some special name for being kicked out of half the churches in your area for juvenile mischief and banned from them by the age of 7? (That's the record on my neighborhood, I didn't get that far until I was 12)

What is, is. What isn't, isn't. Whether you like it or not. Whether you comprehend it or not.

Peace

If you're baptised by your own will then you're born again. In a nutshell.
